In trigonometry, oblique triangles (triangles with no right angle)
are solved using the Law of Sines and the Law of Cosines. These
trigonometric laws can be proved using trigonometry or using the
theorems of geometry. However, these laws can also be proved
using vectors and vector properties. Here is a proof of the
Law of Sines using a triangle whose sides are vectors and the
properties of the cross product of two vectors.
